Projects & Concepts
The platform has four building blocks:
| Concept | What it is |
|---|---|
| Organization | Your account boundary. Owns API keys and the IP allowlist. |
| Project | Groups subscribed services under one plan, one region, one invoice. Bounds project-scoped API keys. |
| Service | One managed primitive inside a project — Postgres, Objects, Auth, Search, Cache, Realtime, Secrets, or Messaging. |
| Capability | What a service can do on the current plan. Clients should read capabilities instead of assuming — plans and engines evolve. |
Lifecycle
Section titled “Lifecycle”Projects provision all bundled services together, scale together when you change plans, and suspend or terminate together. On the Free plan, a project pauses after 30 idle days — resume it from My Impulse at any time; your data is retained per the SLA.
Free, Spark, Launch, and Scale — flat monthly pricing, no usage meters. From Launch up, services graduate from shared pools to dedicated infrastructure. Current numbers live on the pricing page.
Attached add-ons
Section titled “Attached add-ons”Web hosting (Plesk or cPanel), Cloud VPS, and transactional mail attach alongside a project on the same account — see Hosting & Servers.
